Parenting Coaching

"I just wanted to say BIG thank you - today was really inspiring. I've had a really lovely and peaceful afternoon and evening with crises averted thanks to all the techniques you shared.” Faye

Why should you learn about parenting?

There's no job in the world more important than raising the adults of tomorrow.  But overwhelmed, frustrated, and exhausted dealing with the challenges of family life, we realise that not only is it important, it's tough!  Sometimes we feel that we're not the parents that we wanted to be, that our go to techniques and responses aren't working but we're at a complete loss to know what to do instead.    I know I've been there.

No matter what challenges you're facing, whether you're parenting together or apart, a positive nurturing family has wide-ranging repercussions for our kids' happiness, mental health and success.  When we work together we delve into effective practical techniques that boost your child's self esteem, build a growth mindset and their ability to self-regulate.  You'll learn how to use positive discipline and emotion coaching to build their emotional intelligence and resilience.  You'll learn how to work with your child's temperament to help them be the best versions of their unique selves. You'll learn how to stay calm,  whether it's in the face of challenging behaviour,  the emotional turmoil of divorce, or juggling the stresses of everyday family life,  so that you can find a bit more joy and happiness in being a parent while building a strong connection with your kids.

Parenting is one of the hardest but most important and most fulfilling jobs and I would love to support you on your journey.

Creating Sibling Harmony at Home

Workshop (or webinar) on resolving sibling rivalry and creating harmony at home

All siblings fight. It's normal and it's natural. Our kids argue and fight to find their place, to get our attention and feel our connection, and to let us know what they believe is fair. They fight because they're all different and they're working out who they are and how to get along.

But sibling bickering, squabbling, and fighting can be real button pushers for parents just as too much rivalry can be unhealthy for our kids. The good news is that there are many practical things that we can do to resolve sibling rivalry, manage fights and squabbles and create positive relationships and harmony at home.

In this workshop you will learn the 5 step plan to sibling harmony:

  1. The importance of being a coach
  2. How to teach your kids to problem solve
  3. How to use empathy as your super power
  4. How to set up for success by anticipating the hot spots, spending quality time, celebrating each unique child and how to create family time together
  5. How to deal with fighting and physical aggression
